MTSU Department of Health Sciences

Graduate Assistantships

An MSTU Public Health Master Program student presenting his research.

Graduate assistants in the Department of Health Sciences receive tuition support and a monthly stipend in exchange for 20 hours per week of teaching or research assistance. Positions are competitive and awarded based on qualifications, program needs, and available funding.

Each graduate program sets its own eligibility requirements and assignment types. Review the program-specific information below before applying.

Admission to the program does not guarantee funding. Graduate assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis. A virtual interview may be required as part of the decision-making process.
