MTSU Department of Health Sciences
Advising
From your first semester through graduation, you’ll have two types of advising support.
New students
If you’re a new freshman or transfer student, start with New to Blue orientation. You’ll meet your advisor, register for your first courses, and learn how campus works.
Academic Advising
Academic advisors help with course registration, degree audits, and academic planning. They can answer questions about prerequisites, transfer credits, and graduation requirements.
When to see your academic advisor:
- Course registration and schedule planning
- Degree audit reviews
- Transfer credit questions
- Major or concentration changes
- Academic probation or early alerts
