Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic

The Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic provides evaluation and therapy services for children and adults in the Murfreesboro community. Services are provided by advanced undergraduate students in the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology program under the supervision of licensed, ASHA-certified professionals.

Who we Help

We work with children and adults who have:

  • Hearing loss
  • Speech sound difficulties (articulation)
  • Language delays or disorders
  • Voice problems
  • Fluency disorders, including stuttering
  • Other communication challenges

How We Choose Clients

We match clients with students based on:

  • Type of communication need
  • Available space and staff
  • Clinic schedule
  • Educational needs of our student clinicians

Clinic Schedule & Fees

  • We follow the MTSU academic calendar
  • Clients must get a parking pass from Parking Services each semester
  • Services are billed on a sliding scale at the end of the semester
  • There is currently a waiting list for therapy
